On the way to Ludlow from Covington is an eye-catching gray Victorian house with a 3-story tower. This tower and wraparound porch is what made its owners fall in love.

On this week’s episode of Beyond the Curb: River City Living, viewers can see inside.

The late 1800s home had already been updated when the current owners found it. It has features they love, like the stone wall and barn doors in the master bedroom, the 6 seater kitchen island and the split staircase.

The owners style is an attractive mix of new and vintage furniture, plants, art painted by friends and interesting treasures they have collected over the years. The effect is inviting and personalized.

In addition to the large front porch, they recently added a deck behind the garage. This provides an additional place to entertain or just relax.

Ludlow’s charming town center is a bonus for the couple. They walk to stores and restaurants several times a week.

Their urban castle is guarded by Spartacus, their terrier-chihuahua mix. They feel lucky to have found the house and, as they say in the episode, “it’s been fine ever since.”
