Today, TJMaxx launches Find Your Maxx: a unique opportunity that gives women essential tools to let go of the fear of failure and put themselves first. Whether it’s taking their creative expression to the next level, getting their team off the ground or anything in between, one lucky grand prize winner will receive the mentorship of a lifetime with the actress, comedian and writer Emmy nominated — Yvonne Orji and $50,000 in start-up funds to help propel them towards their Maxx selves.

Yvonne knows firsthand what it’s like to commit shamelessly. After discovering her passion for stand-up comedy while in college, she changed her plans to become a doctor to pursue her dreams. That’s why Yvonne helps her mentee start the process of finding her Maxx through one-on-one sessions and inspires women everywhere to do the same.

How it works:

  • From today until August 26e, entrants can enter for a chance to win the Find Your Maxx prize via by submitting a short video that outlines what finding their Maxx looks like. This contest is free.
  • One Grand Prize winner and five runners-up will be selected to receive unique prize packages:
    • Grand Prize: The Grand Prize winner will receive $50,000 in funding to help support her as she pursues her ambitions and passions, as well as mentorship with Yvonne Orji bring vision and expertise.
    • Finalist Prize: Our five finalists will each receive $10,000 in financing and be matched with Sophie Caseycertified life coach and corporate trainer with over 30 years of experience, to help them start their journey.

Find Your Maxx is part of The Maxx You Project, TJMaxx’s ongoing initiative to support women as they navigate the process of becoming their most authentic selves. Now in its sixth year, The Maxx You Project is launching “Find Your Maxx Workshops” to provide women around the world with resources and support as they navigate the process of becoming Maxx themselves.

Starting in October and running through November, TJMaxx will be hosting six virtual workshops on TikTok and Instagram Live via @tjmaxx. Each episode will be co-hosted by a life coach Sophie Casey alongside a special guest and focus on a variety of topics to encourage viewers on their journey. Workshop topics include:

This year, TJMaxx continues its partnership with global nonprofit, Dress for Success, to support its mission to empower women to transform their lives and reimagine their futures. In addition to collaborating on the “Maxx Your Career” virtual workshop, TJMaxx offers a range of programs dedicated to the Dress for Success community, encouraging members of the organization to find themselves Maxx. This includes:

  • A series of month-long virtual programs, ranging from an expert workshop aimed at educating women about the psychology behind successful goal management to a guided meditation designed to help women envision a path to career success.
  • In-person workshops dedicated to helping women prioritize their career goals at 13 Dress for Success affiliate stores across the country.
  • TJMaxx style and shopping experiences to help them take the next step in their professional journey.
